Another fun busy day. Pulled seats out of Sonic & took them over Kinsey's custom to start interior. Came home few hours later an to my surprise Katzkin box was there with my interior leather. Talk about fast an professional. I spoke to Katzkin Monday/Tuesday an here Friday all meterials arrived. Course Katzkin is well awhere of what's involved doing a SEMA build.
I then proceed to Auto Doctors of AZ. take Valor and Metra products have my tech Tony check everything out to make sure parts all there. Everything correct so will be good to go come install time, same with interior.
Optima Batteries contacted me today to sponsor with their product. Was surprise at this point Optima does not make a battery for Sonic. Optima wanted me measure OEM so they can make/offer product on their end after SEMA. I guess I'm sort of like their test guinea-pig. Don't mind as I have used their product before in my SEMA projects. Like to thank Tony at Auto Doctors figuring out what size and type to pass that information on to Optima.
Speaking of sponsors, now I have to figure out what tire sponsor to go with on 18" wheels. Dunlop, Nitto or Goodyear. I'll sort that out next few days, as I like and have use their products before as well
